Get ready to get physical! We are excited to announce that we are running a virtual Sports Day, where you can take part in a range of fun fitness challenges! All of the information can be found on the school website: just click on 'News' and then on 'Virtual Sports Day'. As well as this, make sure you visit the Virtual Hub to see videos of the teachers demonstrating each of the challenges!

Please email all entries to competition@alfredsalter.com by the closing date of Monday 29^th June. The entries will then be judged and winners will be announced in the following week. Your child may enter as many competitions as he or she chooses. However, please send a separate email for each entry and please title each entry with your child's name, year group and the competition name: e.g. Eleanor, Year 6, Burpees. 

For the fitness challenges, please send a video of your child completing their chosen activity. You can send your video file via 'WeTransfer' - this is an easy method to send files for free. The link to the website for this is: https://wetransfer.com/. For the creative and Daily Mile challenges, please send a photo of your child completing their chosen activity. We would like to have the option to share winning entries on the school website. Please let us know when you send us the file if you give consent for us to do this. 

We will acknowledge every entry with a virtual certificate that we will send by email. The top three entries for each competition will receive a medal, which you will be able to collect at a nominated time after the judging has taken place. Alternatively, we can hold on to the medal until the school re-opens.
